Where are you located?
I maintain locations in both Wilmington, Delaware and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and regularly photograph weddings from Washington D.C, Maryland and the Delaware beaches to Manhattan, upstate New York, Bucks County, Pennsylvania - and everywhere in between.
Are you willing to travel?
If you are interested in a venue outside of the Delaware, Philadelphia or New Jersey area please contact me so we can discuss your plans.
What is your photography style?
I describe my style as elegant, relaxed portraiture with a modern, documentary approach.
The best way to figure out if my style is right for you is to look through the images here on my website and on my blog.
And if you'd like to see a full set of images from a recent wedding, just get in touch.
How long have you been a photographer?
I've worked as a full-time professional photographer my entire life. Much of my career has been spent as a full-time newspaper photographer, which is great training for weddings. I received my MA in Visual Communication from Ohio University and I've been photographing weddings since 2008.
Will you be the person photographing our wedding?
Yes. I will be your photographer and main contact - from planning out your day to album completion.
Do we receive the digital files of our wedding images?
Yes, all collections include digital proofs.
How long until we see our wedding photos?
The agreement says 8 weeks, but most clients receive their files within 4-6 weeks of their wedding date. All images are custom toned and color corrected by me and I want to get your images to you as much as you want to see them!
I see a lot of moments and documentary-style work on your site, will you photograph posed group photos?
Absolutely! We'll talk prior to the wedding to identify specific groups you'd like photographed so we can work efficiently on your wedding day. While most clients are attracted to the story-telling moments in my images, family photos are an important part of documenting your day. When considering your time line, estimate that each grouping will take 3-5 minutes. We can do as many or as few as you'd like, depending on how much time you'd like to budget for group photos.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I'd be happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue if it's required.
What equipment do you use?
I use professional Canon DSLR cameras with a full line of professional-grade Canon lenses and lighting equipment, including back-up gear.
What is your payment structure?
A retainer of $1000 is required with your signed agreement to reserve your wedding date. Half the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding date and the remaining balance is due on or before the wedding date.
